How to get Visual Nexus

Visual Nexus is available either as an in house system or via a subscription service. An in house system is best where you want ton run inside your own secure network and when you have your own network capable of supporting video traffic.  The subscription service runs over the public Internet and is ideal for dispersed teams and companies that do not have their own private network.

In either case Visual Nexus is available through a network of authorized resellers who are able to advise you on the best options for your company.

In house systems

When you deploy an an house system you purchase Visual Nexus software licenses to run on a standard Intel server.  The server must be hosted at a location to provide the bandwidth required for the number of users who will use the system. Each of the three products are separately licensed so that you only purchase what you need.  For example if you are inside your own network you may not need Secure Transport firewall traversal software.  Your Visual Nexus authorized partner can advise you on the number of licenses required and on hosting options.

The Subscription model

Subscribing to the Visual Nexus service provides you with your own private area on the virtual meeting service, just as if you had installed your own system. Depending on the level of package you have subscribed for, you can create accounts in your private area, enabling your staff to connect to the service.  You are also provided with private virtual meeting rooms that your staff can schedule .

To get started on the Visual Nexus service, an organization subscribes to a basic package which allows 5 individuals in the organization to be simultaneously in face to face calls or to be in virtual meetings. The premium package enables any of your staff to load up the software client software and there is no set limit to the number of individual accounts that you can create.

The basic package entitles users to make as many calls as they want to. Individuals in an organization can either connect to the Visual Nexus service using the supplied software or via a standard’s based video conferencing room system.
