Version 4 of Visual Nexus has been announced with immeadiate availability. With higher quality video and up to 16 video images in a single stream, this new release builds on the success of Version 3. Despite the added functionality in the new release, prices for Visual Nexus remain unchanged.

New Version 3.2-2 is released

Real VNC & Visual Nexus Signs agreement for Next Generation application Sharing

Visual Nexus and Real VNC have signed an agreement to collaborate on a new generation of application sharing for the future release of Visual Nexus. This will replace the existing T.120 sharing provided in the current version of Visual Nexus. Microsoft have removed Net Meeting and support for T.120 from Windows Vista and this new capability will enable users of Visual Nexus to continue to share applications whether they are using Windows Vista or Windows XP.


Visual Nexus attached to Cisco Call Manager to provide advanced communication solution

The Visual Nexus meeting server has now been integrated with Cisco Call Manager at a number of customers in the city of London. By adding Visual Nexus to the Cisco IP Telephony system, Cisco IP phones, Video conferencing units, mobile phones and Visual Nexus video endpoints can all join the same meetings hosted on the Visual Nexus Meeting Server.


Visual Nexus acquired by OKI Electric
in Japan

OKI Electric, a major Japanese telecom supplier, has acquired Visual Nexus business from TCB in Japan. OKI has integrated the Visual Nexus into their SIP based IP PBX product for some time and decided that they also wanted to take over the stand alone business. Visual Nexus Limited, based in the UK, remains as the marketing and support operation for the Visual Nexus product line worldwide.
