By adding the Visual Nexus software endpoint to a Windows computer you create a powerful communication tool that can be used to join a face to face virtual meeting and share data and applications. One of the historical issues in deploying this kind of system is the difficulty of enabling voice and video traffic to cross firewalls and network boundaries. The Visual Nexus secure transport option is a secure way to traverse firewalls and NATs enabling you to join a virtual meeting from any where you can get a broad band connection. The Visual Nexus SIP option lets you interoperate between Visual Nexus solutions and IP PBX systems or Microsoft OCS systems.
