Visual Nexus Virtual Meeting Solutions

Visual Nexus is a set of software products that can either be used to extend the capabilities of video conferencing systems or to create a complete virtual meeting solution. They can be licensed to deploy an in house solutions or rented on a monthly subscription service provided by Visual Nexus and its partners.

The heart of the system is the Visual Nexus meeting server.  This is a software video bridge (MCU) hosting both SD and HD virtual Meetings of from 3 to hundreds of participants.  It has a built in gatekeeper for setting up calls, a presence server for seeing when contacts are on line and a web based administration system. The create your virtual meeting system you can use a mixture of the Visual Nexus software endpoints running on existing Windows computers and video conferencing room systems. The Visual Nexus software endpoint creates a powerful communication tool that can be used to join a face to face virtual meetings from where ever you are. The Visual Nexus secure transport option is a secure way to traverse firewalls and NATs enabling you to join a virtual meeting from home, at your desk or while traveling.

Collaboration Options

The Visual Nexus solution has five different methods for sharing data or collaborating online using applications on your personal computer.  In a virtual meeting you can use one or more different collaboration tools, depending on exactly what you need to do.

  • "Show and Play" video and still images through the high quality video system
  • Make presentations to other meeting participants
  • Share and collaborate on any application running on a participants computer
  • Display documents to video conferencing equipment with the video H.239 standard
  • Text messaging between users on the system
